Flower Girls can do no wrong!
July 21, 2013

I had a great response to my facebook post about flower girls at weddings, so I decided to share it on my blog.

No matter what a flower girl does, the wedding guests find her delightfully entertaining!

When flower girls are involved in a wedding, the very young ones can create an element of surprise...such as suddenly becoming too shy to start down the aisle or heading off in the wrong direction.

One flower girl tossed flower petals as she walked down the aisle. When she got to the front, she turned around and walked all the way back making sure to carefully pick up every petal she had dropped. I kept the piano music going. This made for a long processional and lots of chuckles from the guests!

I am happy to say that this charming flower girl did everything perfectly!

I just met with a bride last week to plan her wedding music. When we came to the topic of flower girls, she explained that her two grandmothers are going to be her flower girls. What a delightful idea!

The grandmothers are sure to be a big hit!

I bet there are many fun stories about flower girl experiences. Do you have a story to share?   Send your comments. We would all enjoy hearing it!
